Tier-I examination for recruitment to various teaching and non-teaching posts in KVS and NVS was conducted on 10th & 11th January 2026. The provisional answer keys and scanned image of OMR answer sheets attempted by the candidates are available on below mentioned link:

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on behalf of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), has officially released the provisional answer key for the Tier-1 recruitment examinations conducted on 10th and 11th January 2026. These exams were held for various teaching and non-teaching posts, attracting lakhs of candidates from across India.
KVS/NVS has issued the answer key and some instructions has given to candidates. The candidates may login through the above link using their roll number and date of birth to download the scanned image of their attempted OMR answer sheet and provisional answer keys. In case they are not satisfied with any of the provisional answer(s), they may challenge the provisional answers through the same link, latest by 11:59 PM of 04th February 2026 with a non – refundable prescribed fee of Rs.1000/- per question as processing charges. KVS/ NVS answerkey and OMR released by recruitment agency.

Only paid challenges made during stipulated time will be considered. Challenges without payment of fee and those submitted on any other medium (viz. email/letter/representation) will not be considered. The subject experts will examine all the challenges received and then the final answer keys will be prepared by them. The decision of subject experts on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained. The candidates will not be informed individually about the status of their challenges. The result will be declared according to the final answer keys prepared by the subject experts. In case challenge on answer key(s) is accepted by the subject expert(s), the amount will be refunded to concerned candidate after declaration of result. No grievance with regard to answer key(s) after declaration of result will be entertained.

Raise Objections (If Desire)
If candidates find any answer they believe is incorrect in the provisional answer key, they can raise objections within a specified time window. Typically:
- You must submit proof or justification for the challenge.
- There might be a nominal fee per question challenged (which may be refunded if the objection is accepted).
These examinations were a crucial step in filling thousands of vacancies in government-run schools across the country, including both KVS and NVS institutions. The released answer key now gives candidates a way to evaluate their performance and calculate their expected scores.
No further opportunity would be given to the candidates to download their OMR answer sheets of Tier-I examination of KVS and NVS recruitment examination.
After the objection period ends and the board reviews all challenges:
- A final answer key will be released.
- The results based on the final key will be declared soon after that.
